God, Creator of heaven and earth, is no longer just the Creator, but He becomes our Father and we become His children. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we can become more like our heavenly Father and join the universal body of Christ.
As we continue to submit to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, our love for Him and one another deepens and we truly become the family of God. Sea Island International is a place where community becomes family through the blood of Jesus.

PASTOR ALLAN AND GLORIA RASHFORD
Allan A. Rashford was born in Jamaica and moved to Brooklyn, New York as a teenager. In 1976, he moved his family to Charleston, South Carolina and was employed by the Sea Island Comprehensive Health Care Cooperation. He later opened a private practice and was also appointed President of the Charleston County Medical Society in 1998.

During his earlier years in South Carolina, Dr. Rashford preached in Methodist and AME churches and was a leader in the Quaker meeting with his mother, Winnefred Rashford. In 1996, he became Assistant Pastor to Rev. Charles Fountain at St. Andrews Church of the Nazarene, later changed to Sea Island International Church of the Nazarene. He was ordained by the church of the Nazarene on July 29, 2009 and has been the Senior Pastor since then.

Dr. Rashford has been married to Gloria Rashford for over 45 years. They have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. As a young man, he always had a passion for fishing. Little did he know that one day the Lord would transform that passion into being a fisher of men.
